F1 GP Singapore 2009: Hamilton win

McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton won the night race at Singapore Grand Prix, Sunday (27 / 9/2009).

While Brawn Grand Prix driver Jenson Button is still firmly on top of the standings despite only ranked fifth.

Hamilton started the race from pole position and maintain dominance until the race was over. He was 9.6 seconds ahead of second order Timo Glock of Toyota. Fernando Alonso gave good news for his team, Renault, to finish third.

Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel was ranked fourth. Buton at number five in front of teammates as well as its main rival in the hunt for the title, Rubens Barrichello. Button is now 15 points ahead of Barrichello as the race stayed longer leaving three series.




Brawn Grand Prix boss, Ross Brawn revealed his happines in the success of Button collect points despite poor show in qualifying. "There is a recovery for us After qualifying yesterday. The main competitors we do not make much progress today," said Brawn.
