MotoGP Malaysia 2009: Rossi the world champion

Valentino Rossi, ensuring himself a MotoGP world champion in 2009 after occupying the third position in the Malaysian GP, Sunday (25/10/2009).

Rossi position in the race that was ultimately won by Australian pebalap Ducati, Casey Stoner. Meanwhile, Dani Pedrosa, was in second position. Rossi, Fiat Yamaha team pebalap already 38 points ahead of closest rival, Jorge Lorenzo, just need a big four positions to defend the world title.

Malaysian GP race was marked by the conviction of Spaniard Jorge Lorenzo. Second place in qualifying, Saturday, Lorenzo punishment for failing to occupy the position in time. Lorenzo himself eventually finish in fourth.





MotoGP racing was delayed almost an hour due to heavy rain which flushed the Sepang circuit. Previously, the weather was clear enough so that everyone can do the race Sunday morning warm-up session.
